Andy Albright Explains Why Who You Listen To And What You Do Matters

Feb 15, 2019

On this episode of The Alliance Activity podcast, Andy Albright gives you three ways to get rich!

How many times have you heard a person, or even thought to yourself, “how do I get rich?”

If you have said this or heard a person say this, then let me tell you that'is OK. There is no reason to think that you can’t get rich. That’s the good news.

But, there is bad news that you must confront right now! Time is against you, it is not on your side!!!

Andy Albright makes the same money as you do, but he makes it faster and cheaper than you do.

Can you tell/sell this idea with the same enthusiasm as I Andy? It is about selling and doing the mundane. He covers this in detail on page 121 of his book, “Millionaire Maker Manual.” Once you know what it takes to make money and be successful, you must make yourself hit the repeat button. You have to keep doing it … over and over … time after time. You can’t stop or the money stops.

Excuses!

Let’s talk about excuses. These are reasons why you can’t do something. This is not about skill. This is about activity. If you can put in the work and you are coachable, then you can do what we do. If you know the formula, it is up to you to put in the time/work it takes to hit your desired goal. This can be different for you than 10 other people, but you have to define what it takes in order to get your goal on a daily and weekly basis.

Think about your favorite athlete ever. Pick a person that was a champion and at the top of what they competed in. Why do you think they were so good when the bright lights came on? I’ll give you a hint: they put in the work and did it non-stop, even when they didn’t feel like it. I like to think this is easy complicated. A person that loses innocence and has the eyes of a child will think that they can’t believe they get to do this and get paid to do it.

Forget your history and past. Let’s focus on now and move. Let’s go!

Let me tell you what I learned the last 25 years. It’s not about what people did to you, but how you reacted to how you were treated that matters most. Did you continue to overcome setbacks?

Can you allow your pain to teach you a lesson and keep going through it until things get better? This is who we are at The Alliance. This is what separates us from other people in insurance. It’s not just money. We make old feel like new. We take hopelessness and fill it up with hope. We take a mess and make people feel blessed.

You need to feel empowered, equipped and relieved. You need to feel that way because Andy was given a shot to make it and he did. You can have that same shot. There are times when it takes years for a person to get past their past. Are you the kind of person that can be patient for two, four or even six years before the leader emerges and shows what he/she is truly made of?

How fast it happens for you is up to you. Don’t wait on others to find your purpose. Help find others that have the same vision that you do for the future.

Get after it. Don’t let up. We have to start now. The clock is ticking. We can’t waste any more time. Let’s roll!

On this episode of The Alliance Activity podcast, Andy Albright delivers three critical steps to success that you can implement today.

Plan, Schedule, Organize!

Have you heard the story of the donkey in the well. When dirt ended up on his back, he shook it off and stepped up. He kept doing this until he was able to step out of the well.

What if people faced challenges and obstacles in the same manner?

The way to success can be simplified if you are able to plan, schedule and organize (prioritize). The next step is to decide exactly what you want. If you plan to get that, you are more likely to get it. You have to execute the plan and you have to work to develop the skills it takes to get what you want.

How do you spend your time? Are you in control? Do you have great time management skills? Are you happy? Are you confident? Do you have the power? How is your well being?

No matter how bad you are, you have to learn to avoid procrastination and stay away from low-value activities. You can fix all your problems eventually. You do this by being as efficient as possible, working to be your most effective and by doing things that are as productive as possible.

You have to move from confusion to clarity and from frustration to focus. This comes from repetition and practice. You have to be result oriented.

It's about clear goals and being organized to do tasks that move you toward your dream. This means maximizing every minute possible of every day. The choices and decisions you make are created you entire life up to this moment.

What are you doing now? This is the time to make new choices and new decisions that align with what you want.

Are you using the LLC method? Are you getting a list from people you meet, are you helping them get a license to sell insurance and are you working to help them attend the next event or meeting they need to be at?

Your business, family and your health should be priorities. Be like a sniper and zero in on your target with a high-priority focus on what you are aiming at.

How do you know what is the right thing to do? If you know what you are aiming at, then it should be pretty easy to figure out what to do next. Right things should always be more important than wrong things. All your effort should involve your aim or goal at the moment you are in immediately.

The most important tasks should be your "A" tasks. These are things that get you closer to where you want to be, and they are things that need to happen now. The "A" tasks should take priority over "B" tasks. Which one gets you closer to your goal?

Let's discuss intelligence. High IQ. Did you make good grades? If not, do you at least seem intelligent? Don't act unintelligent, that is not a good look at all. Behave in a way that moves you closer to the goals and be smart about it. If it doesn't move or get you what you WANT. Don't be stupid when it comes to your behavior because it could be the difference in success and failure.
