On this episode of The Alliance Activity podcast, Andy Albright talks about the importance of driving volume up in your business.

This takes effort and work, so a lot of people are not willing to put in the time it takes to grow.

People will tell you how bad they want something, but their actions have to back that talk up or it is meaningless.

If you want to grow, you have to call people. You have to get a list and work the list in depth. That's the fastest way to drive volume up. You have to go deep and wide. That's how you build a great team.

When you find a solid person and get them started, you want to help them get a person in depth quickly. Go wide and go deep.

If you build a solid foundation and base, then you build a something amazing. The stronger it is, the more it can withstand when the pressure is applied.

Andy likes to use the example about pushing to go deeper and deeper. When you are digging a hole and you are using a post hole shovel, you can only go so far until you can’t pull the post hole shovel apart.

However, if you keep moving over to the left side and the right side of the original hole, you can dig a little deeper because the hole is wide enough to fit inside and pull the post hole shovel apart.

This is the same concept in our business!

You are the digger. The post hole shovel is your MC Backup (list). The hole you are digging is the opportunity for you to expand financially and see success in your business!

We keep digging deeper to find the gold, or in our case, find the guy or gal that is going to push your business through the roof!

What many people do both in our business and when digging holes, they get to a certain spot and they think that it is good enough.

They think that this is a good spot for them to take a break and can call it quits for the day.

The same thing happens ALL THE TIME with people in our company! And it drives me CRAZY!!

People get to this destination where it is okay to let up and take a break. They think that the person they found is the one to push them over the top and they’re just going to stop.

This is a HUGE NO!

Soon, that hole that you are digging is going to be so deep, you’ll be knee deep in a pot of gold!

And once you’re in that pot of gold, you can look up and see all the success that you have created, and all the studs you have on your side.

That is how you are going to drive your volume up. It is a consistent mind set to not take a break when you think you need to.

Keep pushing and don’t let up.

Get your list from people, call it, and get more people under you to grow as wide and deep as possible.

On this episode of The Alliance Activity podcast, Andy Albright gives you three critical communication errors that people make on a regular basis.

  • “I’ve never been more excited for our company, and we are about to go!”
  • Belief is a big deal!
  • Communication is the lubrication for financial affairs
  • People mess up communication, we all mess up communication
  • 1) People think that they are not important to tell a leader what is going on, and they think that their life is insignificant to the bigger deal
  • NEED to communicate what is going on
  • “You don’t tell me enough, because you don’t think you are important enough to me”
  • If I communicate something to you, then I expect you to do it, it is your fault that you don’t do it
  • If I don’t communicate something to you, it is my own damn fault that
  • Communication is like two gears, you have your two gears grinding back and forth (those are the people) the communication is the lubrication to making the gears smooth.. Like WD-40
  • 2) People get offended because they don’t communicate with them because they think you’re too important
  • You assume that you told someone everything and they KNEW it, however they didn’t know at all.
  • Information changes the situation
  • Communication is the way to spread the information
  • 3) Assume they know from the text or the email that was sent, the only way they can communicate
  • Quit living the life of being scared and worried about getting hurt. Live a life of not afraid to get hurt, do more than expected!
  • If you don’t have transparency then you don’t have true communication
  • Someone needs to know that they can share affection
  • Do you dare to talk about it, build a strong relationship, and find a friendship

On this episode of the Alliance Activity call, Andy Albright drives deep on the topic of financial literacy.

Do you know where you stand with your finances? Do you have a plan moving forward to build wealth? Where are you investing heavily?

Successful people are great at acquiring assets and limiting liabilities. Think about it like water and protecting a new tree. You water it. You put a fence around it. You provide for it and protect it. If you do this often enough, that tree will bring you apples eventually.

When people are smart with their money, they end up with more of it. When they are dumb with it, it runs out quickly.

Financial literacy is needed to be successful. How many lottery winners and pro athletes have you seen end up poorer than when they hit the jackpot and had millions?

Why don't they teach more of this in school? You have to have a plan.

Rule 1: Buy assets. Next, buy more assets.

What is an asset? Most do not know the difference between an asset and a liability. Keep it simple.

Many people read all the time. However, most don't comprehend what they are reading. Read and understand. That's key.

The rich acquire assets and the poor and middle keep buying liabilities. Assets are tools that help increase your income. You want to keep growing your cash flow and keep buying assets. The balance sheet don't lie. Assets put money in your pocket. Liabilities take money out of your pocket.

Your cash flow fixes a lot of problems. A fool and his money is one big party that soon will be parted.

If you look up and find you have dug yourself a hold, you need to stop digging now so we can fix the problem sooner rather than later.

Intelligent people hire more people that can help them acquire more assets. They don't just get there alone. It takes an army.

Your top asset is your brain. Your attitude matters too. Be smart!

Why do people do things that they know are not right or correct?

It should be your job to help them stop doing the wrong things and start changing their habits for the better. How do you do that? You talk to people.

The way to market the right behavior is by talking to people, and by finding people doing what they should be doing. You have to spread the word and make sure you are properly communicating with the people you encounter every single day.

When people are truly focused, then they can do great things. We all need encouragement and we all need daily reminders to stay on point so that we make sure we are successful.

The Alliance is on a mission to help people. If we work hard to form bonds and relationships early in the process, then we can help more people be more successful. In order to do that, we have to set the example and do the right things before we expect the same of others.

We need to connect people with other people who share interests and commonalities with each other. When we build relationships early, the success will come faster and easier than if we don’t make those connections and bonds.
